 Elizabeth wins 'Miss Universe NZ', and 'Reactiv Defining Challenge'
Elizabeth Gray has been awarded first place in my latest 'Defining Challenge' after achieving her amazing personal accomplishment winning 'The Miss Universe NZ Pageant'. Here is her story of the challenge...
"My 12 week challenge was actually a lot of fun. I had just got back from Italy where I had gained weight from all the tempting and delicious carbohydrate packed food! It was a 6 week holiday throughout the country and I ate enough pizza and pasta to feed an army. Well, because of my actions I gained a little weight (around 6 kilos) and when I got home I decided to get back into fitness and shed the kilos.
It was quite a coincidence that Mike emailed me about the challenge because it was just what I needed to get motivated to get back in shape. I also had just found out that I was going to be part of 'The Miss Universe New Zealand Pageant'.
There was a lot of work to do and only 8 weeks until the Pageant. I managed to steadily loose 1.5 kilos a week with exercise and diet that Mike prescribed and got to approx 59-60 kilos for the pageant which i was extremely happy about!
I was more confident and felt great! All the hard work paid off and I was fortunate enough to win 'The Miss Universe NZ Pageant' on March 26th.
Four to Five weeks later I have been trying my best to maintain my weight even though my routine now is very busy and tiring. I'm definitely back on track and still working hard. The Miss Universe Pageant is on July 23rd this year in Los Angeles....so keep your fingers crossed!!"
