Rhys Mckay wins 2nd Place in 'Defining Challenge'
"At the start of the Reactiv 'Defining Challenge' I weighed in at 96.8 kg and did not have too much energy. The first two weeks were the hardest but I enjoyed having the challenge of changing my eating habits.
By week 3 I had started to notice a difference in my energy levels and also my temper was a lot better. By half way I had noticed a big change in my appearance and other people were starting to make comments as well. At the half way stage I weighed 89 kg which was the first time I had been under 90kg for about 8 years. A trip to aus just at the mid point stopped my progress a bit but not my desire to carry on - but when I got back I was sick for 2 weeks and that made a dent on my progress.
I found the info that I was able to get from Mike at any stage was top notch and gave me the confidence to get to the gym and work hard something I have never been able to achieve even with a personal trainer.
At the end of the challenge I now weigh 84.9 kg and feel so much better for it I look better (work in progress) and feel so much better. The only problem is most of my pants no longer fit ha ha.
This challenge has been the best thing I have done for a long long time and thanks heaps to Mike for that.
I don't see the 12 week mark as the finish of the challenge I see it as just the start to bigger and better things.
Thanks for changing my naughty ways Mike, I do have a weak moment from time to time but the guilt makes me work twice as hard.
All I can say is watch this space, WORK IN PROGRESS.
Thanks heaps Mike."
